Phoenix Building Components
Utopia, Ontario
Designed to be a Flagship Location, this new Truss & Wall Panel Manufacturing Facility combined a 43,000sf Pre-Engineered Industrial Building with a 9,000sf Office Building. As the client specializes in Engineered Wood Building Components, we strategically highlighted many of their own products into this Show Piece Build. A glass-floor showcases the different floor products they supply, an open area highlights their truss systems, and a custom wood stairwell delivers potential clients a clear understanding of the Engineered Timber Components that makeup Modern Wood Construction.
Kumi Manufacturing Canada Addition
Bradford, Ontario
Beta Tech Facility
Barrie, Ontario
The 24,000sf, 45’ high, Pre-Engineered (Steelway) Industrial Building Addition included two press pits, and a link to the existing facility. It was completed under a Construction Management Contract and faced with many unique challenges such as; unconventional logistical delivery of equipment, sheet shoring, and a “permit to take water” for an extensive dewatering exercise.
Essa & District Agricultural Society Barns
Barrie, Ontario
Completed under a Design-Build Contract, this project comprised of 5 Horse Barns measuring 275` x 75’, each. These barns were built as Pre-Engineered Buildings with standing seam metal roofs, interior lighting, and included plumbing rough-ins. Located in Essa Township, this facility now offers the Fair Grounds over 100,000sf of new space to house their animals and hold special events.
