Three story addition and interior/exterior restoration to existing Courthouse heritage building.
The project was divided into three phases, the first being the addition – construction here was poured concrete with insulated concrete form system (ICF). Due to a structural problem with the ICF, Phase 1 was completed 1 month over the expected completion date. Phases 2 & 3 were interior renovations to the existing facility and were competed on time, and on budget.
There was extensive coordination between Bertram site workers and the building facilities department as well as court officials, to ensure minimal disruption of this operating public space; during the latter two phases, personnel were relocated from their original area to temporary work areas. Job completion by sister company Bertram Construction & Design.
